Rahway
Public Library
The Rahway Public Library is a 32,000 square foot, four
story building, that includes high-speed Internet access,
an attractive fireplace, a coffee shop and cafe as well
as terraces that overlook the Rahway River. The infrastructure
improvements include site clearance/earthwork, relocation
of sanitary sewer, installation of drainage and utility
systems, construction of parking facilities and other
related improvements. |

Springfield Fire House
The Springfield firehouse is a free-standing, 26,551 square
foot facility situated on a 1.1 acre site. The interior
space provides accommodation for the 24-hours a day staff;
as well as the necessary space for emergency logistics
and communications equipment for the 800-plus alarms per
year. Silcon was responsible for overseeing and coordinating
all construction trades associated with this project.

Mott
Elementary School
The 15,600 square foot renovation, three story addition,
includes a new Kitchen, Cafeteria, Media Center, Art and
Music Rooms along with additional classrooms. The 70,000
square foot renovations provides the existing school a
renovated Administrative Area, reconfigured classrooms
and upgrades to the school’s HVAC, fire alarm, and
sprinkler systems. |
